County Shield at Causey Farm 🏆

19-Apr-2026: Congratulations to our Scout Teams on securing 1st place in the Gleann na Bóinne County Shield Final, held last weekend at Causey Farm.

It was an incredible weekend for the Dunboyne teams with our mixed teams, formed with Kildalkey, achieving an impressive 3rd place finish. An amazing result considering they had only come together earlier in the week!

Our other team claimed 1st place, a fantastic achievement that reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment they’ve shown. We’re absolutely delighted for them.

Across the competition, the Scouts demonstrated outstanding skills in areas such as pioneering and backwoods, along with exceptional teamwork and spirit.

Their success now takes them forward to the Phoenix, the All-Ireland competition, where 400–500 Scouts from across the country will compete.

Well done to all involved and to their mentors, Barry, Tony, and all the Scout Leaders for their guidance and support.

Onwards to the Phoenix! 🐦‍🔥
