Your adventure, your way

About the Programme

Venture Scouts, typically in 4th, 5th and 6th year of secondary school, have the freedom and responsibility to shape their own scouting experience. This section is young-person led, with Ventures deciding their own programme, planning their own expeditions, and taking on significant leadership and community roles.

Venture Scouts work towards the Gaisce, the President's Award, as well as the Chief Scout's Award if not already achieved. The programme is self-directed and covers adventure, community action, personal development, and international opportunities.
